After purchase, copy your license key from My licenses. In cTrader Automate, attach the algo and paste the key when prompted. The critical field is your cTrader account number — the digits shown top-right when that account is selected (demo or live).
Activate the same account you trade on. Switching demo accounts without updating activation produces “not licensed” errors that look like broken software but are just mismatched IDs.
When cTrader asks for Network access, allow it. Online verification contacts AlgoScriptX servers; blocking network makes legitimate tools fail like pirated copies.
